Construction Insurance
Insurance built for the site.
Contractors’ all risks, contract works and liability for main contractors, developers and specialist builds, arranged by people who understand construction risk.
Our approach
Construction risk is priced on detail. The more accurately your work is presented to the market, the better you buy, and the harder your cover works under contract.
Cover we arrange
From ground-break to handover.
A construction programme that matches the obligations in your contracts: JCT, NEC or bespoke.
Contractors’ All Risks
Works, materials and temporary structures: on site, in transit and in storage.
Contract Works
Annual or single-project cover structured around your contract conditions and client requirements.
Public & Employers’ Liability
Liability limits and wordings that satisfy principal contractors and public-sector procurement.
Professional Indemnity
Design liability for contractors with design responsibility, including design & build and CDM duties.
Plant & Equipment
Owned and hired-in plant, tools and machinery, with hire-agreement liabilities covered properly.
Fleet & Commercial Vehicles
Vans, tippers and mixed site fleets under one programme, alongside the rest of your cover.
Why contractors work with us
We speak site and spreadsheet.
Construction insurance fails at the edges: exclusions, conditions and contract mismatches. That is where we concentrate.
Non-standard risks welcome
Basements, refurbishment, heritage, timber frame, height: risks other brokers avoid are where we do our best work.
Contract-ready cover
Collateral warranties, indemnity clauses and insurance obligations reviewed against your policy before you sign.
Claims managed site-side
Site incidents are handled with urgency: evidence secured, insurers instructed, programme delays minimised.
Construction questions
Asked by contractors and developers.
Do we need professional indemnity as a contractor?
If you carry any design responsibility, including design portions under design & build, the contract will usually require it. We review your contracts and arrange PI that matches the liability you actually carry.
Is hired-in plant covered under our policy or the hire company’s?
Hire agreements typically make you responsible for the plant while it is in your care. We arrange hired-in plant cover with limits that match your hire schedule, so a damaged excavator is not an uninsured bill.
Can you review the insurance clauses in a contract before we sign?
Yes, send it over. We check the required covers, limits and indemnity provisions against your programme and flag anything that needs negotiating before it becomes a problem.
